It arrived! I have reached full adult status and gotten all giddy about cleaning products! I have always (well, at least since I was pregnant) been all about nontoxic cleaners. Traditional chemical cleaners have always given me headaches but that intensified greatly when I became pregnant. Once Harlow was born, I got on the nontoxic train even more so. My everyday cleaning product of choice was the Babyganics All-Purpose cleaning sprays. I haven’t had any issues with them. It does the job it was intended to do. Then, I discovered Grove Collaborative . After watching Rachel Weiland praise them on YouTube, I had to check it out. You can’t go wrong with amazing scents and that’s what Babyganics lacked for me. I chose Mrs. Meyers All-Purpose cleaner in Peppermint. I also got the Dish soap and Hand soap in Peppermint. I knew Peppermint was a safe scent for me, it’s definitely a favorite. I was very intrigued by the “Orange Clove” scent but feared it would be too strong. I decided to get the hand soap in orange clove just to see how it was. OMG, I LOVE IT! I am really almost wishing I would have gotten everything in the Orange Clove scent, too. Switching back and forth daily would be my jam. I also got 2 bathroom cleaners. One is a daily shower spray (smells HEAVENLY in eucalyptus mint) and an antibacterial bathroom spray. I cannot wait to continue to use these products!
It is very important to me that the cleaning products I use are safe for Harlow. It has been since day 1, but even more so now because she is at the stage where she is mommy’s helper. She likes to help me wipe down the cabinets, dishwasher, etc and carry my stuff to where ever I need it. She can’t do that with the chemical cleaners. I would never forgive myself if something happened because of unsafe cleaners. With the products that Grove Collaborative carries, I don’t have to worry about that.
